Surette is a French-Canadian word used to describe a slightly acidic flavor and also describes the bright colors of sour candy. Our Cherry Surette is made from Montmorency tart cherries producing a reduction with strong cherry flavor and fantastic acidity.The Surette team wants to pave a new road and discover naturally occurring sour flavors in America, which will, in turn, help us to develop natural extracts from plants and fruits encountered on a daily basis, yet whose potential goes unnoticed.We hope to uncover new culinary territories within the natural and human environments of this land we call home.
